Calypso Eclipse Cruise from Port Douglas - Sunrise 14.11.12

Enjoy a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to experience a total solar eclipse while cruising on the Coral Sea near Port Douglas. Calypso's Great Barrier Reef cruise vessels offer uninterrupted viewing of this natural phenomenon from spacious decks and air conditioned comfort.

Departing the Port Douglas Marina just after sunrise at 6am, our vessels cruise east into the beautiful Coral Sea, with Four Mile Beach and Port Douglas to their west. Our guests will see the 2012 Solar Eclipse from the unique vantage points on all decks of our vessels. As Totality draws closer our vessels move into position for the Solar Eclipse event. The sky will dim and then darken as Totality arrives. Our guests will be in the prime position for this awesome event!

Our experienced crew will provide light refreshments on board and guests will be supplied with a pair of Australian Certified solar eclipse glasses to safely view the event.

Important:
Please be aware there are limited seats available for this opportunity to secure the best view of the 2012 Solar Eclipse from Port Douglas, the closest Australian town to the Great Barrier Reef and on the direct path of the 2012 Solar Eclipse.

Price: $85.00 per person, Self Drive (including EMC and light refreshments). $95.00 per person with transfers (including transfers from Port Douglas accommodation, EMC and light refreshments)

Boarding: 5.45am for departure at 6.00am.
